Graduates who need accessible parking for themselves due to a disability or for their guests with disabilities, should email the McBurney Disability Resource Center mcburney@odos.wisc.edu) as soon as possible with the following information:

1. Graduate's name (First and Last Name)
2. Graduate's Student ID Number
3. Time of Ceremony (e.g., 10am, 2pm, 5:30pm)
4. Date of Cermony (e.g., Sunday, May 19)
5. Who the permit is for (e.g., elderly grandmother who has difficulty walking, father who uses walker, uncle who uses wheelchair, self, etc.)
6. Does the lot need to be wheelchair accessible?
7. A disabled permit/license number if they have one.

One permit per graduate is generally provided. Carpooling among family members/guests is encouraged to conserve limited space. Expect an email from McBurney letting you know when permits are ready for pick-up.Permits should be picked up at McBurney before noon the Thursday of commencement weekend.  The McBurney Disability Resource Center is closed on weekends.   Bring your student ID with you when you pick up the permit.
