• McBurney also employs numerous student hourly workers who staff our main desk, coordinate the notetaking and document conversion services and the McBurney Speakers Bureau, and assist with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services Program and document conversion services.

• Cathy directs the programmatic, operational, financial, and personnel activities of the McBurney Center. She provides technical assistance, outreach, and training to the University's faculty and staff. She works closely with the University's ADA Coordinator to ensure compliance with state and federal laws and University policies affecting people with disabilities. In addition, she evaluates disability documentation and conducts intake appointments to determine eligibility for services.

• B.A. supervises the Notetaking Coordinator and other support service providers (paid readers, laboratory assistants, etc.). She also coordinates the priority registration service and volunteer program in addition to providing problem solving and advocacy with faculty, staff and students. B.A. is the liaison to the Testing and Evaluation Office. She also manages office computer systems and staff computer training.

• Barbara supervises the Disability Program Aides (DPAs), monitors the McBurney budget, and oversees the commencement accessible parking permit application process. She also manages payroll processes and the donor data base. Barbara serves as backup to DPAs in reception area, orders office supplies, maintains office equipment, and coordinates general office management.

• Jennifer works with students who are deaf or hard of hearing and with students with mobility, autism and health-related disabilities.

• Debra works with students with psychological disabilities and provides in-service training to faculty and staff involved with accommodations. She collaborates with numerous on and off-campus partners to help provide equal access to campus activities. She assists incoming students and their parents with the transition into college life. Debra also has supervisory responsibilities with McBurney staff and interns.

• Lisa works as a psychologist both at the McBurney Center and University Health Services-Counseling Services. At McBurney, Lisa reviews documentation and works directly with students with learning disabilities, ADHD, traumatic brain injuries, and a combination of learning and psychological disabilities. Lisa also coordinates the Pre-Doctoral Psychology Internship program and supervises interns.

• Todd is the accommodation specialist for students with visual impairments. He consults with students regarding adaptive technology, manages the adaptive technology lab, and supervises the Document Conversion Service. Additionally, he works with various campus partners on a variety of disability and accessibility related projects.

• Kate is the interim accommodation specialist for students who are Deaf or hard of hearing. She consults with students, faculty and staff on classroom accommodation and accessibility issues and provides information regarding assistive technology for individuals who are Deaf or hard of hearing.
